Moon Goddess Oil

A ritual anointing oil to channel Moon Goddess energy. 

You Will Need

• Rose petals
• Jasmine flowers
• Mugwort
• Clary sage essential oil
• Rose essential oil
• Jasmine essential oil
• Carrier oil
• Clear quartz

How to Craft This Oil

Make this Moon Goddess Oil on a Full Moon or on a Monday, the day that is ruled by the Moon. Begin making it when the Sun has set and the Moon is visible in the sky.

Be sure to ground and centre yourself before you start.

Burn sage to spiritually cleanse yourself, the items for this oil, and the space that you are creating this oil in.

Cleanse the outside of the jar and the clear quartz with Full Moon water.

Light some incense of jasmine or sandalwood.

Bless and charge the items you are adding to the oil. Place your hands over the items and visualise them surrounded by a shimmering blue light. Ask that each of the items be blessed and charged with Divine Lunar energy.

For a small bottle (15-20ml) of this Moon Goddess oil use approximately a 1/2 teaspoon each of dried rose petals (or one small rosebud), jasmine flowers, and mugwort and 3 drops each of the essential oils. Use a carrier oil such as grapeseed, olive, or sweet almond as the base for this oil.

Charge the oil blend in the Full Moon light on a selenite charging plate surrounded by clear quartz crystals. You could also surround it in a crystal grid of crystals associated with the Moon such as moonstone, selenite, labradorite or angelite.

Let the herbs infuse in the oil for 13 days and then strain them out. Keep the oil blend out of sunlight.

Use this oil for anointing purposes during rituals or spells to channel Moon Goddess energy.
