Citrine is a type of quartz containing iron. A lot of what is sold as citrine is actually heat treated amethyst or smoky quartz, so do keep that in mind if you are looking to purchase natural citrine.

Connected to the solar plexus chakra, citrine can bring balance and healing to that chakra. Meditate lying down with citrine placed on that chakra and visualise the chakra spinning and radiating a golden citrine coloured light.

It helps to cleanse and protect the energy in your aura and subtle body.
